Using your CSR fund, you can sponsor an iTeach project in a country or community that you have a heart for or where you already operate commercially, helping to lift them out of poverty.

iTeach empowers communities to help themselves. For example, health lessons can be created by the local health professional and transferred to young mothers on subjects such as ‘how to prevent diarrhoea in children’. Lessons on sexually transmitted diseases or the dangers of drug and alcohol misuse can be created and transferred to the young men and women in the community.
How iTeach Helps
Local experts in agriculture or honey harvesting, can use iTeach to create lessons which will help a family develop a sustainable source of income.
Lessons are created in the context and language of the community they are intended for and are transferred between Smartphones without the need for Internet or data bundles.

How You Can Support
Choose Your Community
iTeach can be used by communities anywhere in the world. There may be certain countries that you would like to support because you already have business operations there or there may be a community that is already close to your heart. iTeach is designed to work in any language and will therefore be adaptable to the community you choose.
Once downloaded from the Play Store, ‘teachers’ in that community register for an account, which will be approved by the community leaders. Once approved, the teacher will be able to create lessons using the intuitive interface.
Others in the community download iTeach from the Play Store and use it in ‘student’ mode. The ‘teachers’ transfer relevant lessons to the ‘students’ Smartphone, giving them independence to learn away from the classroom and at their own pace.
How Much it Costs?
Depending on the level of your support you can cover the project setup and operating costs for the first 12 months. Thereafter, your continued support will ensure that the project continues successfully.
